Director's Statement
This was my first film back in 2011 in NYC. We filmed with a small crew around Central Park creating a whimsical story about a boy and a girl and an ode to silent films. The Story itself is inspired by the Dresden Doll's song, Coin Operated Boy. I wanted to tell the story of a girl deciding to make her own way and find her own happiness despite what the world around her wants for her.
Bold colors and archetypal characters pushed this short 6 minute film along.
